7, 4, 2. Benefits of Essential Oil Diffusers while writing.

One of the many things I have learned along my writing journey is that, not all things you use to create your story has anything to do with English, of grammar. Most of the writing process begins with the setting. Not of the story but of your surroundings.

When I began my writing journey, I was posted up at my kitchen table, writing in the middle of the night when no one was around to ask me for anything. I just couldn't seem to stay focused enough when there was noise around me.

Until someone had asked me if I had tried diffusing essential oils to help with my focus and creativity. Until that moment I hadn't even thought about it. So I went online, and to no surprise, I was overwhelmed with the opinions of the masses. So I talked to my friend, and she answered all my questions and gave me links to trust worth essential oils.

I purchased the desert diffuser, and the first oil I used was Lavender. I knew that lavender had been used since the beginning of time for its relaxing purposes, it's a pleasant fragrance. But I also learned that lavender is also good for burns, and when 7 drops were added to a diffuser something magical happens. I can honestly say that when I began using lavender on a regular basis, I was much calmer during my writing sessions. Being relaxed made also helped with my productivity.

My thirteen year old introduced me to Peppermint. She heard somewhere that peppermint was good for keeping mice away, and since we are an outdoor family, she thought the best way to keep the hairy thieves away was to drown her pack in peppermint oil. I began to notice that when she started using the peppermint, she was more to rest better, and wasn't upset as much over things that were out of her control.

After making this connection, I asked a friend of mine who is a therapist for adolescent children if she could recommend a blend of oils that could help me focus and be more creative, bring a peaceful atmosphere when my children returned home from school and smelled good. She suggested 7, 4, 2.

7 drops of Lavender, 4 drops of Peppermint, and 2 drops of Sacred Sandalwood.

I began adding this blend to my oil diffuser, and the first day I did, I not only reached my writing goal for the day, and felt like I could keep going, my creative juices were flowing.

I quickly realized that the comforting scent of lavender, the Peppermints peace of mind, and Sandalwood uplifting benefits had allowed me to be more productive, more creative, along with giving me the comfort and positive feel to charge full speed ahead into my project.

Diffusing Essential oils while writing has benefited not just me, and my creativity, but it has also benefited the people in the environment around me. Having a peaceful state of mind allows you stay focused, boosts energy, and gives your creativity the ability to take front stage, allowing you as the creator to be more productive. And more productivity is what every entrepreneur strives for.
